Ready! Set! Go! This fundraiser is held in early September. In this fun event, students collect pledge dollars from family, relatives, friends and neighbors before the event. On event day, there is a big opening ceremony open to all, and students run as many laps as they can in twenty minutes. Some students are incentivized by raising a certain amount per lap, while others collect flat amounts. Either way, our school wins!
Boosterthon is the PTA’s biggest fundraiser of the year. The more we make with this event, the less fundraising we need to do the rest of the year. Without your support many programs that our children participate in throughout the year would not be possible.
PTA fundraising pays for the Artist in Residency program that happens every year that all grades participate in, various reading programs including the end of the year reading cookout (free and offered to every child), your support helps supplement the computer lab, nurse and guidance office supplies, kindergarten lab, 5th grade trip, reimburse teachers for their continuing education expenses and many other great programs.
